Chess.com Isle of Man International 2017 a Photographic Paradise or Hell?

Tournament organizers are very keen to ensure that conditions are exact for the tournament players and very always achieve perfection for conditions of play. However, an area often ignored is the condition for photography in the playing area. We often see poor lighting, lack of space for photographers to take shots, the attack of the water bottles, garishly coloured furniture and table dressings, the list goes on.

Did IOM chess 2017 deliver a photographic paradise or photographic hell? Well, the jury is still out but the organisers worked hard to optimise what they had and the photos taken tell that story.
